Description

The first oil, created during a tumultuous season — initially made to aid its owner, not to be sold. She took solace in it. It helped her rest, when rest had stopped coming easily. Chamomile, lavender, and rose gather at its centre like hands cupped around something fragile, holding what needs holding. Sweet orange, lemon, and lime rise above them — not an escape from the weight beneath, but proof that light and heaviness can occupy the same breath. Neroli moves through it all as harmoniser, the quiet insistence that nothing here is in conflict. Beneath everything, benzoin and clove linger low and resinous, incense-like, the way a held embrace stays on the skin long after the arms have let go. One doesn’t have to look like what one has survived. This oil was the proof of that, long before it was anything else.

Application: Pour into your palms. Warm it by rubbing your hands together. Inhale deeply, more than once. Apply. Let yourself melt into whatever comes next — sleep, stillness, or simply five minutes of not having to hold anything.
